Ready to attend the first ever event in the history of DC? Ready to attend a conference with no agenda? Ready for presenters to become participants and vice versa? Then you may be ready for EdCamp DC.
Signing up to attend EdcampDC means that you’re committed to sharing ideas, asking questions, and forging new connections with other educators in the DC Region. Anyone attending can choose to present. Registering does not mean that you have to present, but all attendees interested in presenting must register.
Attendees can be anyone working in or around the field of education: teachers, administrators, instructional coaches, technology coordinators, social entrepreneurs, policy makers, etc. The focus of the sessions will be determined by the participants, but expect a lot of discussions centered on classroom instruction.
Still confused? Visit the EdCampDC.org site and watch a 2 minute video on a similar EdCamp in Philly. Then sign up and join us. The NTA is proud to be one of many great partners of this new event.
